Blond Moustache Manifesto
As the bassist for local legends The BDC, I realized how many shitty booking agents and shady promoters there are. Out of the dozen or so times we played last summer, our name The BDC was mispelled twice, left of the bill once and completely under marketed the whole time.
So, I decided that enough is enough and it's time for a FAIR and COMPETENT promotions/booking company to come to the forefront- thus Blond Moustache.
In my day job I deal with contracts all day long, and realized that a fair and transparent contract between talent and their representative are the best way to level the playing field and make sure that individuals on both sides perform- and both sides get paid.
I am in the process of organizing info on the talent I will be working with and will post them up in subsequent blog postings. If you are a comedian, DJ or band in the Southern California area, contact me at johnarchuleta@hotmail.com
